Apex President and CEO Ron Weaver Reflects on Year of Giving

Ron Weaver, Apex President & CEO, Reflects on Year of Giving

Be honest, be kind, work hard. This has long been the guiding mantra of Team Apex. A mindset that makes building connections with our community as important as it is for us to build connections with our clients.

Whether at our headquarters in Lancaster, PA, or in the hometowns of our remote teams located throughout the country, we feel a strong sense of responsibility to give back to the communities where we live and work.

At Apex, giving back takes shape in many ways, including monetary contributions and product donations. But we find that giving our time often carries the strongest impact.

As we approached our 30th anniversary in 2021, we knew we wanted to celebrate with our communities in a way that felt meaningful. As we began thinking about the local organizations that have had an impact on our company, our families, and our friends, the list grew into a passion project that we termed, #Apex30for30.

We committed to sharing 30 acts of kindness in honor of our 30th anniversary in business. We invited our team and clients to nominate organizations that were important to them – some we had a history of volunteering with, some held a heighted need in light of our current climate, some were organizations that had impacted the personal lives of our team or someone close to them. Each was special. Each had a story. And each inspired us to think deeply and give more.

The year-long initiative reminded us that our actions hold power – something as simple as a word of encouragement can carve the course for good. And in the end, it was truly our team that benefited most.

I’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you and word of admiration to Team Apex for your countless contributions to our community. You are a true example of how businesses can be a driver for good.

We’d like to introduce you to some of the organizations that are meaningful to us. We hope you’ll take a moment to get to know them and share your time when you are able.
